That way you can contact them direct. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

The amount of time wasters is unbelievable when you are trying to give something away. I tend to put things up for sale for a nominal price on gumtree to try and cut them down, even that doesn't always work. Most recently gave away a computer chair and said in the ad it needed to be collected by someone with a car due to its size. Someone arranged to pick it up the next day, then messaged on the day to say they'd be late due to picking up their kids, then messaged to say, they'd be there soon, then an hour later said, I don't have a car can you deliver it?0

I gave something away an old tv today.
I had around 20 people message me looking for it.
The first few said they would come after work so I said no problem but message me before you leave as it might be gone.
First person that was able to collect got it and it was gone within half an hour.0 -
When I'm getting rid of stuff, if the charity shop don't want it then it gets binned. Life's too short to waste any of it dealing with the sort of entitled wasters you encounter on Freecycle.

But I can see your POV. It is the timewasters who spoil it for othersIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales1 -

If only I had been so lucky... most of the people I heard from seemed to think that delivery of the item at a time of their convenience was by right.0
