Nothing too much to report. Just sticking to budget and logging all my spends.
Have bought all my Christmas presents and now getting stuff together gradually for Christmas dinner. Its so good to know I have spent sensibly and can now just enjoy the run up to it.
A little extra income arrived in unexpectedly today which was super and will be put to good use.
So half way through the month and all going to plan. There might even be some money left in the clothes and eating out categories at the end of the month.
Staying in the black. Still using last months wages for this months expenses. Income trickling in to separate account and mounting up to cover December’s budget.
Doing a lot of cooking and baking at home and shopping from what I already have in and think this is what is contributing to the excess in the eating out fund. Also making use of some good clubcard prices in Tesco and using up all left overs.
Well done for staying in budget and getting Christmas organised. I too have done my shopping early in view of these strange circumstances we find ourselves in. I can't cope with busy shops this year. Helps to minimise the present buying this year too so we are only buying for immediate family.

Thanks Sam. I’m the same about busy shops enthusiasticsaver - I couldn’t cope with them even before the pandemic. I usually go at 8 in the morning or not at all!
Just plodding along, logging spends and keeping an eye on the budget. I think it is pretty spot on now.
Cooked a big meal from scratch for dinner tonight and there is so much I think it will form the basis of lunch and dinner for the rest of the week!
Need a small top up shop in the morning. Will probably get a few bits in for Christmas Day while I’m there.
Need to start having a think about my money goals for 2021.
Well the pots are all looking fairly bare and there’s still five days of the month left. Did a small top up shop this morning so if I’m very disciplined (and maybe start my December budget on Sunday or Monday lol!) I might just make it!
Well there was some spending done over the weekend (buries head in hands!!). Trying to finish what’s left of the decorating before Christmas and had a few bits to get. Hopefully I am almost there now and there shouldn’t be any more big spends.
Have come on here to get the ship steadied and recommit to sensible spending!!
Going to try and be good this coming month, despite it being December!!
