International sim card
I purchased an international Sim card from Oneroam before my holiday to Fuertaventura in November. The sim card camewith 5 euros credit which I topped up with 15 more before I left. After very few short calls and less than a dozen texts I'm promted to top up as my balance has dropped below 10 euros. I topped up again and now I have spent 35 euros in total.
I was alarmed how quickly the credit disappeared and when I contacted Oneroam they said they were not able to give me an itemised bill unless I was prepared to pay £5 for it.
It would appear that the calls are only cheap to a BT line (24p) per minute and not any where else. It would not connect to my cable provider at home. The only thing that worked efficiently seemed to be the reminder after every call that my credit was lower than 10 euros.
I have since dumped the sim card.
Has anyone else had the same problem with this company?

Perhaps you just used it more than you realised, and the tariffs are published clearly enough. Calls to mobiles are more expensive, and don't forget the connection fee, so a two and a bit minute call to a UK mobile costs €2.02. Try using it with a separate callback service.0

Mr Dave,
You seem to be using a phone that is unlocked, why not purchase a PAYG sim for the country you are visiting from ebay. They are simple to use and are a fraction of the cost for calls & texts to the UK and pennies, or € cents, to call local withiin the country you are in.
Most sims are activated for you and come with English details. I have used a Spanish & Italian card for over four years now, there is no way I would use my UK phone abroad. Check it out you will save lots of £ & €.
