  • The CSA are not involved - ha - she could start a case at any time and believe me they will believe her without any proof before you get a word in.
    If this is real then you have to be very silly indeed just to think about it. Tell her to use your maintenance to pay off the card.

    I think the point that many people have made is important. The credit card debt and child maintenance should not be viewed as a quid pro quo but as two separate entities, both of which you could become liable should you go through with this.
    Do not take on the balance transfer unless you are happy to pay for both,  the entire credit card debt and child maintenance payments.
