Yes but that’s £200 charge for a camping trip that costs less than £100. not really a proportionate cost so I will look for sites outside this zone.0

There are many exciting campsites near London. As a very romantic and fantasy lover, I love Alde Garden, Suffolk. It is about 3 hours distance from London. Especially if you are camping with kids, then you would definitely love the ducks, chickens and greenery around it. However, if 3 hours travel is too much for you, then you can also consider Lee Valley Campsite, Essex. I love it because of extreme sports. You can also see numerous other campsites near London here:

Withal, if you are a history lover and want a campsite in a historical city, then Concierge Camping is a fascinating place. You can also see a variety of camping sites in the South East from here https://www.caravansforsale.co.uk/community/advice/travel-advice/top-rated-caravan-sites-in-the-uk#SE and can pick a one according to your interest. By the way, by travelling around 2 hours from London, you can also stay in Primrose Cottage Caravan Park. You would love its maritime heritage and artistic culture.

I can get to London in less than 3 hours on the train from my house in the north! I was more hoping for something 30 minutes or so outside.0

In this regard, you can see Lee Valley Almost Wild Campsite, Hertfordshire. Yes, it takes 25 minutes from London Liverpool Street to Broxbourne Station via train. Then, we would only have to do 10 minutes walk. I think it is the nearest one.Aranyani said:I can get to London in less than 3 hours on the train from my house in the north!
