Yes, we like Anderby Creek @Sun_Addict, also Gibralter Point. Good for wildlife spotting.

My parents took my sister and I to Blackpool every single year until I was 15. We loved it for the first weekend with the lights switch on. It’s one of the fondest times we had and we had so many great memories there. It’s not the same now but I still love taking DD for a stroll up the beach and finishing with a chippy. We do it in Llandudno too where my parents caravan is x

Day 30, got there so can join the gym again.

    No money spent.

Football well fml what can I say it was incredible 4-0!!!!!!! Still can't believe it tbh. Wife and I were in shock ha and son has only just gone to sleep so !!!!!! hyper it was unreal. Not gonna lie we did crack open a bottle of champagne tonight.

Managed to get the RR washed between the rain. Few jobs done round the house too. Not been the best weather and tomorrow isn't meant to be great either.

Cooking roast tomorrow and the in-laws coming round. Going to do the 2 chickens - have a few salads over the week. Wife is enjoying my chicken salads (rather more substantial and less healthy than hers lol). Generally have at lunch then a more substantial meal at dinner. I know I need no encouragement re eating fml I've not lost any of the 3kg gain almost at the point of acceptance with it now ha just don't want to gain anymore. Wife is still working on the weight gain which I'm sure is a nice !!!!!! problem to have fml lol.

@Grumpelstiltskin@foxglovesthank you! !!!!!! crazy how militant they are about dogs on beaches imo.

@Sun_Addict haha you know I'll take son to Skeggy afterwards, see if he can win any tat in the arcade. Start the day with a civilised quiet beach walk but end it £100 down for the 6ft pink giraffe making it's way back to NG.

@Willowtree222 Derbyshire has a tiny version of the illuminations in Matlock Bath. Can't beat a trip to the coast with a fish and chip supper when you're from the middle of the country ha. Always moan about the coastal chippy places they are all !!!!!! compared to our local.

well done Alt on your fantastic achievement.  You sound so much happier these days and loving listening to what you and your family are planning.  the football is just the tonic the country needs right now, I think we will have a house of grumpy, tired kids today - well little grandkids, but it’s worth it 😀. hope the in-laws go well today.

I’m sure time with the in laws will be a breeze compared to getting through the last 30 days.

Hold your head high and be proud of yourself.
