First Steps to Solvency

There is no way I'm having a vaccine that has been manufactured in less than a year and has unknown long term side effects.
I will take my chances with Covid instead.4 -
Wife thinks similarly @RelievedSheff tbh I don’t think they’ll let people be jabbed with anything unsafe. I’ll pay for it to get this over and done.I’m not bothered about covid personally shouldn’t affect me if I got it but can see some kind of restrictions based on whether you’ve had the jab or not. Something like if you’ve had the jab you can go to restaurant but if not you can’t etc.Big !!!!!! night out when this is done don’t care the ££££s lol.3

I've just been reading about the vaccine, ties in nicely with an upcoming exam so good timing Pfizer!!
The vaccine isn't without its challenges and even if it is approved it's going to be a logistical nightmare.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023
Make £2024 in 2024...2 -
I hope it isn't available for people that can pay for it. Sorry @alt80 but that doesn't sit well with me. People with breathing issues are more likely those living in inner cities with poor air quality- in other words, people that won't have the money to pay for the vaccine and may not qualify to get it for free. I'm not judging you for wanting to get it and l'm certainly not saying l hope you can't, l just don't think it should be accessible to the more privileged. Level playing field. Those that are most at risk first and if that means only them, so be it.5

I’m definitely lining up at the door for the vaccine. Hopefully it’ll be rolled out soon.Re: the sale that fell through, I dunno about you but if someone lost it with me cos I didn’t buy something of theirs, I’d assume they were in dire financial straits. Especially if it was a friend. Maybe I’m just more used to people flaking on sales because I used to run a web sales based business. But I’m sure you’ll find another buyer soon.4

@DayDreamerandGeneralWaster Know what you mean re need but if there’s a pass system coming in I’m the first in the queue get out of lockdown madness. Don’t care what it costs - you can guarantee the government will be getting it quick no chance will it be based on pure need nothing else.
@lostmyusername This particular ‘friend’ of wife’s is constantly saying she’ll meet up or whatever and then cancelling last minute shouldn’t have been a surprise. Not even about the money just the principle that she thinks it’s ok to agree then go back on her word just another example of this from her. I made that very clear it’s not about money one bit. I don’t need her money. Wife just takes the bs from her all the time, she needed a piece of my mind about how she treats my wife generally.

@ryanm8655 haha no doubt about it 100 everywhere will be rammed. Don’t even go out out that much anymore but the first weekend the pubs opened this summer wife and I went out both hardly had a drink over lockdown we were absolutely wasted come the end of the night lol.
Just need to believe it’s going to happen right now! Same with the FA or I’ll be doing FA even when we do get out of lockdown ha.3 -
Another rubbish nights sleep last night. Almost guaranteed bad one tonight too with val tomorrow. I’m a Valuer by profession so always slightly strange when I’m stood the other side ha. Will maybe know by end of week or beginning of next. Always worse waiting when you’re a bit desperate for the cash tbh.
Managed to spend some time with son and have a little walk with family tonight. Hoping by weekend I’ll be able to go for proper walk with them.Christmas advent stuff here too. Actually really looking forward to cheap advent lol will give wife and I bit of time together when son’s gone to bed.9/11/20:
1. X7 things up for sale. 1/7
2. X3 exercise ( just upper body x2 and something else x1 with foot issue wife will come up with something no doubt ha) 0 lol.
3. Update expenses/ cards spreadsheets. Not today.
4. Finish work 6.00pm and switch email off. Yes hardly been able to concentrate tbh.
5. In bed for midnight. Who knows?4 -
Best of luck with the valuation today. Hope all goes well and you can sleep a bit easier soon.Whatever happens it's a lesson learned!
