On the sub-topic of apps - yesterday my Halifax mobile banking app updated yesterday with a note to say

'this will be our last update suporting iOS 10, please check if your device will support iOS 11+ so that you can continue getting app updates and usig our app.'

It's fairly obvious that are going to close or sell off their current account portfolio. 

I agree that this seems likely. However it does make their decision to issue new debit cards to current account holders somewhat strange.

Messi used the burofax system provided by the Spanish Postal Service for sending documents where you need to prove the contents of a document and that the document was delivered. A court of law will accept the sender's receipt of delivery as proof the document in question actually was delivered, and so it is a common method of delivering legal documents in Spain.

Messi didn't use a fax machine.

Yes, I got a new one this week with an expiry date in 2023. I'm not sure what Tesco are planning, but I see no reason for them to stop making money in the mean time.
