    On the sub-topic of apps - yesterday my Halifax mobile banking app updated yesterday with a note to say

    'this will be our last update suporting iOS 10, please check if your device will support iOS 11+ so that you can continue getting app updates and usig our app.'

    I agree that this seems likely. However it does make their decision to issue new debit cards to current account holders somewhat strange.

    Yes, I got a new one this week with an expiry date in 2023. I'm not sure what Tesco are planning, but I see no reason for them to stop making money in the mean time.
