Saw the show - loved it. Martin, as someone else said earlier, you do talk quite fast when you're enthusing on money saving stuff! :D

I'd love to be in the audience, but would have to take a whole day off work to make it. Still, can make some cashback with Quidco... Yay! We'll see!

What info would I have to give the audiences team?
  • Well Martin you look very handsome in the flesh so to speak, i saw you on 5 tonight and was like hubba hubba hes a hunk! :money:

Apart from that, moving on swiftly....

My sister is now a follower, she rung and asked me what you meant by mortgage end fee, so she is signing up to this site for emails, and is ringing Abbey National tomorrow.

    Will keep you posted.
  • :j I went along for the "Dry Run" on Monday 7th Jan and it was great. To be there is something special as well as meeting Martin, Ruth and their celebrity guest in person. The whole team are really great too.

You even get the chance to ask your questions in It Pays To Watch Extra.

I know it takes time and you have to pay to get there but the experience is better than most you pay a lot more for. I came away inspired and have just got my MEAF back for £83 so that more than took care of the travel cost.

So go on treat yourself and sign up before the coveted places go. I'm going to!
  • I watched this and enjoyed it - would only say though that I felt a bit 'shouted at' - did anyone else find the style of delivery at little, errm loud :o
Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.

  • I just had an E mail asking me if I want to be in the studio audience on It Pays to Watch.:money: :T

    Wahay!!:j :T :D :rotfl:

They want to know my name etc,and asked how many tickets I want.
    I said 1.And they gave me 2 dates,so I think(If I get them) I'll be going on the 23rd January.
I don't drive, will have to get there on public transport.Somewhere called Queensway in London.
Has anyone done anything like this before?
    I'm very excited!!
    Any feedback folks?

I've never been to anything like Martins show unfortunatly, but I did go to see The Paul O'Grady Show live, in April 2007. The atmosphere was superb!:D

You should be able to get to Queensway quite easily. When you get your Tickets, it should tell you the best way to get there on the back of the Tickets ( The Paul O'Grady Tickets did ). If not you can look it up on the net, or phone London Transport info line.

I do hope you have a lovely tme, and get to meet Martin too! ;)

Welcome to MSE Super Consumer!

I'm so envious that you got to see the show being filmed! :o It's too far for me to travel with a baby at the minute but I would have loved to be there!

I went to see Britain's Got Talent being filmed in Manchester last year and that was great! :T

Where will you be travelling from (roughly)? Are you likely to be catching a train? If so, you might benefit from booking it via www.pigsback.com - search the forum for help or pm me.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Watched the show, very good. Gave up Corrie which I watched later on ITV2. I can't say I've ever seen a show delivered with more enthusiasm than It Pays to Watch. I was worn out at the end just watching Martin. ;) Liked the 'Top Gear' type set up of the show.

Wouldn't it be good if you could get Jeremy Clarkson on the show, to check his wallet out, or perhaps Richard Hammond.

How many shows are in the series?
