I've had problems with part-worns going down; part-worns being distorted, no problems buying new so only new now for me.

I suppose it depends what car you have. For my car, a complete set of new budget tyres was under £200, so makes 're-treads' hardly worth it. I suppose the saving is greater if you have a car where tyres are £1k a pop. I never understand why anyone would buy that type of car if they can't afford the massive running costs that go with it.0

update:Spoke to trading standardsRe contacted business and left message asking to speak to owner about sending a letter of complaint as instructedThey contacted back and offered a refundTook back tyre, they didnt even check it and gave refundGot what i wanted however its still bad customer service and a waste of time.I learnt that only some businesses are registered with regulatory bodies and have official complaints proceduresHi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
