replaced upper arm delivery tube.
still same
replaced pump to upper arm feeder tube.
still same
all fitted correctly and oem parts.
don't get it?
when i open the door water is coming out of the arm jet holes. but it stops as soon as i open the door so its difficult to tell if the water jet is powerful.or not. I can't think what else it may be
ideas anyone please?

Sounds like you've replaced pretty much everything ! Have you taken the arm off and squirted water through it from the tap ? That should tell you if there's a blockage, or partial blockage, in one of the nozzles. Is the arm free to rotate ? It could be obstructed either by an item sitting on the basket too high, something like a spoon poking through the bottom of the basket, or by a bent wire on the basket itself.Other than that, a waterproof camera ain't such a daft idea, if you have one or can borrow one. Just put the dishwasher on a cold wash (maybe just a rinse cycle ?) and see if you can see anything obvious that's amiss.1

thanks
yes, all the obvious done.
the arm is new, all of the plumbing inside is 😔 . took it and its upper housing feed that connects to the pump feed pipe at the back. ran water from garden hose through it. water output fine and the arm turns freely.
nothing in the upper basket is preventing the arm rotate in situ but of course i can't confirm that without that interior waterproof cam which doesn't seem a daft idea any more.
crazy. just don't get it.0 -
In the training school at Hotpoint we had a clear plastic false door so you could see what was going on inside. Could've done with one in the van for such problems.
All I could think of in such situations is to put the upper arm in a known position, shut door & turn on. Open up again and if the arm is in the same position then it's not moving! Why it's not moving is another matter.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.1 -
Arm is moving.
i can only think that despite new parts and seals, water is leaking causing loss of power in the arm jets.
think i will need to get an ip68 wifi camera that has integral led and that will allow my to close the door which is switched to the pump.
no idea what i could use or where to go.0 -
If you see how much water is coming out of the jets how will you know if it is enough or not? If you decide it isn't enough what are you going to do about it?
Just a couple of things to think about before you spend a lot of time or money on it.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0 -
need a camera and shut the door , to diagnose
looking now for ip68 battery operated and wifi connection.... will post when i find one and run the test.

Could you run it with a load of cups packed face up to see how much water splashes into them - if the water is bouncing around they would get full. I am not sure how you owuld interpret the results, but it might be interesting. You could also try something like a dishwashing tablet in a mesh bag on the top shelf to see how fast it dissolves compared to one lower down - faster with with water jets hitting it.

Could it be a fill-level problem? If you take off the side panel (not sure which side on your machine) there should be a clear plastic item with water channels which can get blocked with fat, which then seems to affect the water pressure to the spray arms. I’ve found that cleaning this so that the water flows properly makes a big difference (although it is such a pain to achieve, that replacing the component may be a better approach). On my machine The spare part seems to be known as a “water inlet” while for Beko it seems to be a “regeneration unit”.
I guess, though, that if the pump is not achieving enough pressure or has a partial blockage, you might get the same symptoms. I once had a piece of glass wedged in mine, so be careful if you are sticking fingers into the pipe.0
