NORTON AUTO RENEWAL - TAKING MONEY 4 WEEKS BEFORE RENEWAL

The majority of people probably don't need all those extras, so why pay for something you don't need?Highland76 said:
No, the best advice is to avoid paying silly prices for any AV software. Paid for AV software often offers additional features not available in free AV software such as VPN, Password manager, better support etc.RumRat said:Best advice is to avoid paid for AV. I had problems with Norton, especially trying to contact them. But it also started happening with AVG. Been brilliant for some time then took 4 times the amount I could buy it for online and they took the money ahead of time. They really shot themselves in the foot.So yes, whatever you buy don't do autorenew. You get reasonable prices if they think you might leave.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

The only normal people you know are the ones you don’t know very well

If you must pay for anti-virus you get better prices if you don't buy from the vendor direct in the first place. Plenty of keys on Amazon and eBay.twopenny said:So yes, whatever you buy don't do autorenew. You get reasonable prices if they think you might leave.

Dont pay for AV with auto renewal in place.
OP my advice is if your going to buy AV buy it from say Amazon and its just for a year or dont pay for Norton and use 1 of the free options.0
