Well, honest Chris panicked me - but I've just managed to bag two more standing tickets for the Emirates. I guess I'll find some friends who'll want to go if BOTH orders come through...

Same here davey. I'm planning to travel all over Europe to see the Boss, but I will NOT miss this one in my own backyard, so I've bought two more standing for the Emirates. Will happily to sell them to any genuine fan at face value if they turn out to be surplus to requirements.

I bought two tickets last evening by following a link from the Bruce Springsteen official website... I have email confirmation and booking ref. I cannot get through to Ticket Zone by phone to confirm my order. Having missed out on 02 because all tickets were snapped up on presale, I'll be mighty disappointed if I have missed out again. Argh - why does it have to be so difficult just to buy some gig tickets?!
Update - just managed to get hold of Ticket Zone after holding for 30 minutes. They have confirmed they have my order and will be taking payment later today. Phew. I hope it works out the same for all the other posters on this thread.

You are right Ginger_Lion, why does it have to be so hard? These people at Ticketzone are idiots. Hopefully Harvey Goldsmith has seen the error of his ways and, if there is a second show, he will leave all the ticketing to Ticketmaster who are a lot more professional (even if, like all these outfits, they charge a great deal extra for doing not very much).

However, this is smooooth compared to buying tickets for Barcelona. It took three-and-a-half hours bashing on a website which kept saying "too busy" (probably using all the server resources telling thousands of people it was "too busy"). Then, when eventually successful, it turns out that tickets can only be collected from various outlets in Spain, NOT from the stadium box office, and not within 3 working days of the event i.e. for the Sunday show you would need to collect the tickets the previous Tuesday at the latest! This wasn't mentioned anywhere before purchasing (I can read Spanish). Fortunately I will be in Spain anyway a few weeks before the show and I'll pick up the tickets then.

I can't help feeling that some people really haven't got the hang of this internet thingy yet...

Looks like Ticketmaster are out of standing tickets. Still appearing intermittently on Ticketzone, but looks like they are pretty much out too. Badlands seem to still have some:

just called ticketzone to check my booking was ok - they said it was fine. also notice they still have standing at old trafford only, but seats at them all (inc top price seats at emirates)

After a couple of weeks of checking my credit card on a daily basis after seemingly purchasing tix for The Boss on the Friday through Ticketzone, I have jst received an email from them this morning stating they had a problem with obtaining payment and I would need to call them on an 0870 number to complete. I have now purchased better tickets for the Saturday at the Emirates and and it appears to have been processed straight away.....for once Ticketzones incompetence has worked in my favour!

Springsteen tickets tend to only be sent out a couple of weeks in advance of the concert.
