Reading some of the springsteen fan web sites it looks like some have been experiencing problems with bookings asking for cardiff and getting manchester,just to make you aware.

Just looked into this and I'm afraid you are correct.

Ticketzone are cancelling all pre-sale orders because they made an !!!! of this and their "restricted mailing list only" pre-sale is wide open to the public

Oh No! You've got me panicking now! I was just about to post a massive thank you for sharing the link but I'm now wondering if the tickets Ive just bought are going to be cancelled. (I've thanked you anyway!!).

Can you point me in the direction of where it says about cancelling the tickets?

I've just phoned them and they say if you have an email confirmation then you should be okay. Although, as I had only just booked, she couldn't access my booking to look at it, so I might call back tomorrow.
I booked 2 seats in London For May 2008. I hope its okay because it will be a great xmas pressie for my OH.

Well, I've chanced my arm too and gone with it. Two tickets seemingly in the bag for the Emirates. Thanks!! Will have a very happy Xmas if it's correct - surely if there was a big problem with the site they would just take the tickets off sale rather than continue to issue order confirmattions? Here's hoping so.....

ordered 4 standing for me and the family at OT manchester.got a booking reference so hope that means allok

This is insane. I'm neither an Arsenal season ticket holder nor a resident of Islington, but I seem to have just bought 2 standing tickets for the Emirates gig at 8:00 a.m., 1 hour before they are supposed to be on sale. I've got a booking ref and an email confirmation.

If this lot sells out before 9:00 a lot of people are (rightly) going to be very angry. Hopefully this incompetent ticket agency will not be used again for such a big event.

We just bought 2 for the Emirates stadium too - fingers crossed it goes through ok!

Not surprisingly, can't get through on the phone to check that my order will be honoured.

However, when I looked a few minutes ago, there was no mention of Springsteen tickets. Now there is - but with many areas sold out.

That suggests to me that they're in control of the situation - just selling earlier than the rest. Doing us all a favour in fact. Fingers crossed! :beer:

Well hopefully they are in control as regards processing confirmed bookings, but in my opinion selling tickets earlier than the published on-sale date/time is well out of order.

If I came along at the published time and found that only the cheap seats were left (as indeed seems to be the case) I would be furious, and rightly so. Not sour grapes, I came along earlier and (apparently) have secured my tickets, but that doesn't make it right.
