Vodafone Gigafast - any experiences ?

Hi,
Our Virgin Media contract is due to end next month and the price hike to £55 is too much for us plus we now have Vodafones FTTH in the street and offering 100mb and phone for just £25 !
Spoke to Virgin today but they could not come close, almost sounding resigned to us leaving, yet they do offer new folk a 100mb and phone deal for £27 !! Why loose us then ??
Wondered what folks experience of this new Vodadone Fibre service is like, good or bad and any tips for getting the best deal from them ?

Rumor has it that the gigafast product is run by a seperate team who are UK based and actually OK. People say nice things. Not widely available though.
Unlike the regular broadband division who went into meltdown a year or two ago and have never really recovered.0
