    Don't know why you think you'll "lose" if you walk away. I would take great pleasure in owning it and saying I was walking (with two fingers in the air) 

    Move on. It's mentally damaging and draining. Get excited again about viewing properties. There'll be something perfect.

    Just to add to the universal chorus - view new houses!

    You don't have to pull out yet. View some more houses, see what's out there right now. If you find one you get excited about, then pull out. It doesn't hurt just to look.  :)

    In that event (found a better house) I  wouldnt even pull out. I'd just ghost them.
    Tell the solicitor to stop working on it, dont answer  queries.
