Thank you everyone for your help I have appealed.  Just on the off chance does anyone have a picture of the signage in the car park?  It is Harbour House, 1 Town Quay, Southampton - directly across from the Ferry Office.
You could try street view on Google Maps but the sign is quite indistinct.

Have you undertaken a forum search?  Have you undertaken a Google search?

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help? I've been searching all morning to try to see how I post a thread?! I've failed miserably at the first hurdle! Long story short, I received a PCN from ParkingEye on 3/9/20. I  had entered the notorious Town Quay in Southampton to collect my disabled Mum from the Red Funnel Redjet scheduled to dock at 10.40am, I entered site at 10.41. No announcement was made by Red Funnel who do have a tannoy facility but they actually had engine failure and didnt dock until 10.57. ParkingEye do allow you to park for 15 minutes for free when collecting from the Redjet. I drove off of site at 11.01.
I received the PCN issued on the 8/9/20 which was in my Husbands name and immediately sent an appeal to ParkingEye online including an email from Redfunnel stating the sailing had arrived late (they are not the Landowner/ I cannot find out who is?)Stupidly I admited that I was the driver not my Husband which I have since read up on the newbies thread that I shouldnt have done!
Next stupid error was not realising they had replied on my home email to say "shock! Horror!" they had rejected my appeal! I then received another PCN on the 24/9/20 and yet again being a bit preoccupied by covid and all the day to day nonsense I ignored it thinking I hadnt received a reply to my appeal, and therefore didnt realise I should have lodged an appeal to POPLA! The second PCN was in my name.
I have now received a LBCCC! And have to admit I am having a bit of a wobble! I dont even know where to start! I am a little daunteded by all you intelligent  people giving advise, when I cant even make out what all the abbreviations stand for?!!!!
I want to fight them as I think they get away with daylight robbery! There were at least another 7 people waiting to pick up passengers from the Redjet that day, mostly older than myself, and I bet ParkingEye frightened all of them into paying the £60! Its shocking what they get away with!
I have 30 days (from the 18th November) in which to return their Reply Form. Having made numerous schoolboy errors to date I dont want to get the next bit wrong too, so I'm really hoping you might be able to give me some sound advise as to what to do next please?
If they had fined me £30 for the overstay of 5 minutes I probably would have paid it, but £60/100?!!! Really? It's daylight robbery! Makes me want to go down there and pay £2.50 for an hours parking and then take them to court because I only used 5 minutes of it! Crazy!!!!
Thank you in advance of any help you might be able to provide.

Welcome!  But you are posting on someone else's thread.

If you have a ParkingEye LBCCC you need to read the section about P/Eye LBCCCs in the NEWBIES thread, first.  No link given, my signature tells you where to click at the top of any page to get around the forum.  This is fully covered in the advice thread everyone is asked to read first (before posting a new thread) and you can email P/Eye and ask for a new POPLA code for a start.

No reply here please, this is not your thread and please don't start a new one until you've read the NEWBIES thread post #2 about LBCCC stage with ParkingEye.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD

There is a button cunningly marked New Thread on the front page of the forum where you must have been in order to have clicked on another thread.  Go back there and, after you have read the NEWBIE as advised by @Coupon-mad, hit the New Thread button.  If you are trying to use the forum on a mobile, this could be part of the problem.
