I get the codes when a sale has took place and you view it on eBay, but when you get the PayPal email with the confirmed address it does not have the code in. So I’ve clearly been sending it with the address PayPal confirms without the code as this is what we get told to do. Had no issues.
How are you purchasing the postage? Through ebay, paypal or at the PO?
I raised this with the developers of some order management software I use. They were told by eBay that the code should not be manually removed from the address or you risk losing seller protection. Apparently the only legitimate way to remove it from the address is if you can submit it to Royal Mail via their API instead.

I was deleting it because I thought it was a glitch but I have left it in now although it does look odd!! A message from ebay about this would have been good!
