To answer my own question, no, I'm reading it wrong.

There's a label on the far-side of the unit that has M284427 on it.
The code for M284427 is 9031
    Brilliant, thanks

Everything posted above is my personal opinion. It may be right, it may be wrong, but it is mine.

This units code can only be calculated if there is another number that is 12 letters and digits long on the barcode beginning with a letter C, not a CL such as C70000001234. Have a look to see if this style of number is on the label on the back of the unit. If not it is only possible to get the code from the main dealer or a car radio specialist.

    Hi all

I thought this was worth a try before I start messing around with Digibox/Lexia…

It's a Peugeot head unit made by Pioneer.

    Model number: DEH-1807ZC

    Serial number: KBTM003227EW

    Barcode number: C70000D06452

I've tried the add 1 to the first digit, 2 to the second digit trick but either I'm doing it wrong or I haven't understood the technique properly!

  • Hi all,

Would anyone be able to help me with obtain the radio code for an older Philips radio from a Rover from around 1991.

Its a Philips R570 with the serial number AR570WB8365108 unfortunately the only paperwork missing is the radio code card.

Many thanks for any help in obtaining this.

Sorry. Your code will only be available from a main dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a radio decoding specialist.
