Has anyone else seen this blog/book/podcast/FB group? I have been listening to Dana over the last few days and she's really starting to brain wash me. I like her thinking. I didn't have the book, but it's on Kindle at Amazon for £1.99 at the moment. I treated myself to the audio supplement and listened to most of it while doing stuff over the last couple of days. She seems to talk sense to me!

Not heard of it. Is it another American sock folding type thing? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

You are encouraged to start with the visible. She only really has 2 questions for whether to keep something and all a lot more than 'sparking joy'. It meant a lot more to me than that.

I'd rather eat my own toenails than read the whitterings of somebody with a vast income and huge house ...... who is telling people how to organise and declutter vast amounts of stuff, the majority of which I've never owned.
And.... she's American, so that's an entirely different ballgame, lifestyle, products availability and annual calendar to us here.
P.S. nobody needs to fold socks, so long as you can grab two that are very similar, that'll do most of the time9 -
I read her decluttering book a couple of years ago and found it far more approachable than Marie Kondo. What I found helpful was she isn’t a naturally tidy person and her method works by not making everything worse before it gets better. She also has a YouTube channel.1

I get a prickly Itch whenever anybody mentions Marie condo. It kills me not being organised. I lurch from giving a good impression to complete chaos in days. Most of my possessions are in constant flux as I try and find them homes for them. When I had the children, I went manic the moment I had the house to myself because I knew if I raced from top to bottom I could get every single room tidy at the same time - it was what I lived for 😂😂 Now I have an empty house, I just don’t have the motivation2

I think it's helping me get a grip. When I lived with my parents at home, dishes were cleared from the table, washing up would be done and the same at my grandparents. It was only once I got in my own home with husband that it started to slip. he fundamentally doesn't care if the dishes are done immediately or not, but then he doesn't do them most of the time. He always does Sunday night if my MIL has been and is supposed to do Thursday as that's my choir night. But the kitchen is looking better and I'm regarding my surroundings now with a 'what shouldn't be there' mentality.[SIZE=-1]"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. I found the Flylady website horribly confusing but Diane explains the system very well! It really works, once you understand it. Note for those who dislike Americans - Diane is a lovely Scottish lady.1
