Sold my mobile to online buy any phone shop, now they won't send money.

Hi I really hope someone can help me out there. I recently upgraded my mobile and thought I'd sell to help with costs to do my room. I'm disabled and money can be very tight. I also suffer  high anxiety and depression so can't talk on phone without bursting into tears so I don't speak to anyone bar immediate family. I don't leave my room and haven't for few years now. Anyway I did all the usual went on a compare site got the best price. Then I paid for 24hr signed delivery to be sure it got there OK. Since then I have done nothing but email nearly every day for payment. On there site and compare site it stated payment same day as receipt of phone. It has now been over a week and I'm in bits. First I had to send proof I'd sent phone with track number. Then it had to be checked then go to payment department an now they say payment to be made. They reply the next day on every email short and sweet saying going this department or that. But I av since found it is a shop. There are no departments. They keep saying payment will be made each day. I wait then nothing an another day goes by. I've stated I will have no choice but seek advice on this but they don't care. I can't afford to loose the money. I know it not alot to most but to me it is. What can I do? Any advice would be very much appreciated 🙏

Saying exactly who you are talking about might help.

You need to write a letter before action, as if you were prepared to take them to court. They are in breach of contract by not paying the amount they owe you. Your letter should say that you are giving them 7 days to refund your money and if they do not you will make a claim for the money in the County Court. If they have a reason why they are not paying you, say that they need to write to you within 7 days explaining the reason. Offer to go use an Alternative Dispute Resolution process. If all of this seems a bit to much effort, perhaps a member of your family will help with this.

Yes, there are some really bad shops out there, if you've encountered one of them there might be other advice.

Yes name them on here, and by doing so you may well find others with same experience & how it was resolved

The above are right name them because you may also stop someone else from having problems from them.
also like said other may have been in your situation and may be able to help you and others on here.
