Just a heads up for anyone looking to buy broadband from Three.

They have good rates yes, but customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

They make claims before purchase, after purchase you will find it hard ot get through to the right person.

Before purchase I was told that once you receive the router, you just insert the sim card and it should connect.

Upon receiving it, I inserted sim card and it did not connect.  Obvious you would think as you should need to activate the new sim.... but no one told me this and it doesnt mention this in the manual.

Spoke to live chat for broadband help and after like 30 minutes he said they cant help with broadband issues I have to ring them...He could have mentioned this at the start and saved us both time??

Rang them up and after several tries ( down for maintenance or too busy etc.) the lady said you have to leave the sim in the router switched on for 4 hours, then restart it then the sim will activate...  it doesnt mention this in the manual.

I read bad reviews about Three customer service but having experience with routers i thought I wouldnt need to contact them...

So yeah its like cheap and nasty
