I'm afraid you may be stuck because you didn't allow them to address the problem. Getting another hairdresser to cut them off has denied them the chance to fix it.

I assume the three photos are publicity shot, you before and then you afterwards?  If so, your hair looked lovely as it was, so do consider the need for extensions.
If you look at Pic 2 & 3 the real hair is not the same colour at the ends. Quite a bit lighter, but all other background colours in pic match.
Given that it appears that real hair is coloured, how long between consultation & actual fixing on 04/09? Which could explain the non colour match.

£280 for a few bits of fake hair? Not very MSE.
There are no rules on MSE about what level of expense is ‘allowed’ and which is not. Posting just to suggest someone shouldn’t be buying certain things is really not in the sprit of MSE and none of us should be jealous if someone has enough money to spend in a way that to the rest of us might seem wasteful.

OP I’m sorry but I agree with the others, I think you will struggle to get anything back here as the original hairdresser wasn’t given the chance to rectify the problem.
Jealous? Have you seen the state of it? lol
To me this whole thread is endemic of everything thats so wrong & wasteful in society. There are some people who could feed a family of five for more than a month on that.
All of which is immaterial , the OP chose how to spend her money. Everything we spend could be used for something elsewhere to benefit others but luckily we are all free to spend our money as we choose and we are entitled to consumer protection .
