Withdrawing interest from a cash ISA?

I've got a cash ISA from a previous year that includes interest above the £20k allowance. Is there any reason why I shouldn't withdraw this amount? I take it I won't receive futher interest on money accrued above the £20k allocance? Will it impact on my ISA allowance or interest free allowance for the current taxt year?

The £20K allowance relates to how much you can pay into ISAs per tax year, so there is nothing significant about interest taking your balance above that, there's no reason to withdraw the interest (although you can if you wish), and interest will continue to be paid on the full balance.1
