Do Barclays Bank respond to a letter posted to my branch?

I don’t have access to my account online and it takes ages on the phone, so a month ago I wrote a letter to my branch asking for some minor changes/additions to my account, will they comply with my wishes or will they just ignore it? Note I was NOT complaining to them.

Note, I have not heard from them since, and I am self isolating.0

Any letters that get directly posted to branch once received in branch are forwarded on to their central processing team in Leicester to process. The branch don’t complete written requests themselves.Once something is actioned they will write to you, or write to explaining why something could not be done.3

Why can you not access your account online?
Honestly if you are savvy enough to be able to post on here you are able to connect to Internet banking.2 -
I could, but I don’t trust my internet connection enough.jonesMUFCforever said:Why can you not access your account online?

Thanks, I did think of writing to Leicester but I wasn’t quite sure if that was the right thing to do.mab3000 said:Any letters that get directly posted to branch once received in branch are forwarded on to their central processing team in Leicester to process. The post (at least around here) has become pretty untrustworthy since COVID. Things arriving very late and some items not at all.0

There are worse examples than this, some people just can't be a*s*d to bank online. Of course, banks are expected to cater for fools such as this. I'd give them a big middle finger myself:BrownTrout said:

I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.1
