I just received this item today https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PhotR-50-Universal-Camera-Camcorder-Tripod-Stand-for-Canon-Nikon-Sony-Panasonic/262135512179
The fully extended position is very flimsy, I can't actually press the camera button as it doesnt stay steady. I have to use the camera is 2 second shoot delay so I press the button and it shoots 2 seconds later. This gets around the camera wobble when I touch the camera.
I wasn't expecting much for the money I paid. I just needed something cheap to hold the camera in place while I take long exposure photo box product photos.
Would I have better chance with an expensive (used) tripod? Or do they all wobble to an extent?

You ideally would use it with a remote shutter release for long exposures

to answer my own question, 100% go for a used one from gumtree or shpock. I bought one just now for £12. Shut down business and sold some of his old gear. The one I bought is a vintage japanse model (no quick release), but it's so study and miles better. The ebay one above, even with a shutter release, any vibrations from walking compunds itself up the legs and the camera wobbles. I really don't get the positive reviews with it.0
