Copying numbers accross
Hi
I've just got a new Nokia N95 and am looking forward to binning my crappy Motorola!
The phone (N95), sim and contract free, is loaded with Vodafone software / branding.
Do Vodafone stores have the equipment to copy accross my contacts from a Motorola V3 to N95? If so, would they do this for free seeing as it had to originally have come from them (it's the 8 gig model which is currently exclusive to Vodafone).
Thanks

Hiya,
Can you put your new vodafone sim in the crappy old phone - copy all your contacts from the phone to the new sim then put it back in the N95? Or is the Motorola locked to a different network?
If all else fails CPW will copy & back up all your contacts for about a fiver!Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...0 -
Hi
Yes, that could work!
Or could blue tooth them accross.. but I think it'd have to be one by one?
The only problem with your idea is there are more than 200 contacts (sim capacity is 200) and when I save 200 to the sim they'll be random each time and may double up!0 -
There are online backup services that should be able to copy stuff across. I use zyb.com, others have been mentioned on these boards in the past.0
