We love maman!!

This thread is a tribute to our friend and fellow MSE member maman, who has (sadly) left MoneySavingExpert, temporarily we hope! We just wanted to say a few words about how much we love her and value her MSE friendship over the 12 years she has been taking part here. Maman is helpful, positive, kind, down-to-earth, funny, respectful and always supportive. We hope she comes back soon.

Well said cathybird we certainly hope that maman will be back with us soon as she has always been friendly, helpful and respectful on all the threads we both follow 😀

I'd like to echo what Sukeyboo and Cathybird have said. Maman has been such a stalwart on here for many years and until she is back we are missing her friendly, helpful and constructive thoughts on here. I do hope whatever the issues have been they get sorted out very soon so she can come back!

Absolutely agree with the above posters.  She is missed on the Slimming World thread too.  She's always so helpful particularly to new people to Slimming World.

No idea what the issues are but we all really hope that she will be back soon.

I too agree with the above posters. MSE and associated forums is a poorer place without our maman, she is greatly missed. Friendly, caring, consistent, interested in other posters but never intrusive - I could go on. I hope whatever the issues are they can be resolved and she feels able to return.

100% echo the above comments. I only know maman from the ‘Giving Up / Cutting Down Alcohol’ thread where she has been a staunch contributor over a long period. Maman is a valued poster on that thread and it is a poorer place without her input. That thread is one that really can - and does - make a material difference to the welfare of those who contribute regularly and to deny maman access will not only adversely affect her, but all those of us who benefit from the mutual support and encouragement to be found on there. 

I hope there is some way that maman could be reinstated.

Absolutely agree with everyone's comments above. I always enjoy reading Maman's comments on various threads, always supportive and helpful. She is very reflective and has helped me to think through some issues. 

I hope she is able to and will return very soon. Maman is very much missed.

I hope it’s just a mix up and Maman got caught up accidentally in someone else’s mess. 

Please reinstate Maman. She’s a valuable member of MSE.

I hope maman is allowed to return. Always felt reassured and encouraged by her support. Alcohol and Sl world! Let’s hope this thread does the trick.🤞
