EDF tariff - good deal?

Hi All,
I need to renew my gas/electric contract and looked at the options on the cheap energy club, and then logged into EDF account (I'm with them currently) to find what seems to be a better deal called "Online Renewal Short-Term" - has anyone seen and switched to this tariff?
I was also told by EDF, through the live chat on their site, that the £30 exit fee only applies if I change tariff midway through the contract. But doesn't apply at all if I want to just leave completely or I move house and go with a different supplier entirely. They suggested (and I've emailed myself a copy of the chat) that the 'contract' bit only really applied to them keeping me on that tariff for the duration of the deal, which is until December 2021. Sounds great but can that be right? I'm wondering if it the person I spoke to just has no idea what they are talking about...
Thoughts?

There seems to be no such contract.0

Exit fees have never applied to a house move, it voids the contract without penalty. No free lunch, and no free laptop1

(I'm not seeing many of the tariffs listed via your link - how many do they have??!)0 -
Here are screenshots of the details from their site when I log in:

The gas price is OK but the electricity's over-priced. But that's typical of a dual fuel tariff; separate suppliers would cost less. Time to choose whether you want the best deal or to stay with EDF.

Is this good for duel fuel prices though? It seemed to be cheaper than anything coming up on the MSE Cheap Energy Club.0 -

(I'm not seeing many of the tariffs listed via your link - how many do they have??!)There are three relevant tariffs, Easy Online Renewal Dec21, Easy Online Renewal Dec21v2 and Easy Online Renewal Dec21v3.7.12 You can end this contract at any time by giving us notice however you may need to pay an exit fee of £15 per fuel if this contract is ended more than three months before its end date – either by us in accordance with these terms, or by you leaving the tariff, changing supplier or moving home without taking the tariff with you.0 -

And I'm now confused about the "moving home without taking the tariff with you" thing. Someone said above that moving house voids the contract without penalty, which is in line with what I was told by EDF via chat.0
