Morrisons Delivery damage to property issue

This couldn't be more wrong. Are you saying if a Tesco driver drove into your car on the way to a delivery, you'd expect the customer with the delivery due to pay for your damages?Bacman said:Issue is for your neighbour to resolve; they ordered the Morrisons delivery so their contract is with them. You could get an estimate from a builder for the cost of putting the work right and then formally write to your neighbour requiring them to either fix it at their cost or pay you the cost to rectify the issue. Whether they pay or chase Morrisons is over to them.
After all, they ordered the delivery - so by your logic it's their fault...

Hi, just jumping on board this thread to ask if the OP ever had a satisfactory response from Morrisons, as a delivery driver similarly caused damage to my garden a couple of weeks ago. While they were good at responding initially, I now haven't had any replies to my queries about the damage which was admitted to by their driver, although he didn't stop but rang the neighbour he was delivering to asking them to apologise on his behalf. How long do these things tend to take?0
