Gambling sites shows up a different name on bank statements?

I had a question. When I make bets on this site called MyBookie. It shows up on my bank stammer as a totally different name. Is this to protect their customers?

No, it’ll be the name of their parent company. It’ll still be able to be identified as a gambling transaction, don’t you worry. It’s a laughable proposition that a gambling company wants to protect its customers. They couldn’t care less about you.

It’s common practise in all walks of life for businesses to appear as something else when processing payments, for example if they’re franchises. My local petrol station shows up as ‘Yew Tree service station’ instead of ‘BP’.

    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)
