  • £11.63 cashed out from a few small 3bay sales after postage and all fees. Undercharged postage by £1 on some books so lesson learned.
So £288.37 still to make. Bids totalling £30 to date, more to list tomorrow and a few watchers on other bits.
    Good luck everyone

morning all. I struggle with facebook sales. Last 2 times I was selling my DS's old books. the first seller turned up on time and shorted me 50p, she gave the book to her daughter who was stood next to her. The smile on her face when she realised she was getting this particular book, I left the 50p and blocked the Mum from ever purchasing from me again.

The second buyer messed me around continuously, kept trying to discount the price and I refused as it was already a bargain. then she was buying, then she wasn't buying. then she was buying. then she was coming at x time, I was working from home so said you need to come on time as I am phone based. Husband turned up 30 mins late, no mask, nothing. Gave him books, gave me cash and then said where is the box that comes with the books?

I said what box? This is not a box set, was not sold as a box set, was sold as individual books. So not only was his wife haggling to further reduce already bargain books, she had told him it was a box set complete with box!

I now stick with selling on eBay. Much less hassle.

Well done though on your facebook sales. It is great to be able to sell without the additional fees.
