In typical fashion the weather has been glorious right until we pulled up at Hunmanby Gap to go for a walk on the beach 🤣🤣🤣

We are all soaked. Just got back. Going to get showered and changed and have a hot brew.

The dog enjoyed it despite the weather.

First outing in our caravan tomorrow for 3 nights in Shropshire. Looking forward to it but will definitely be taking our thermals. Then the Lake District the end of the month for a few nights. Hope weather will be warmer by then. Enjoy your time away.xx

The pie last night was amazing. We will definitely be back here some time soon.

We are booked in the pub for breakfast this morning.

After that we will have a steady drive home. Another soendy day. We need to refuel the van ready to go away at Easter in a couple of weeks.

Dinner later will be roast chicken with all the trimmings.

Called it at Flamborough Head on the way home. It was really pleasant in the sunshine.

Just got back home and emptied the van and got it back in the drive.

Load of washing in the machine now. Put it on a dry cycle as well. Too late to hang it on the line now.

Dinner is prepared ready for later.

Just sitting down to a beer or two now to chill out before work tomorrow.

It has been a lovely weekend if not a very spendy weekend. Van is filled with diesel, well I say filled, it clicked off at £99 and wasn't quite full but near enough. Certainly plenty of fuel to get us to Norfolk in a couple of weeks.

There were loads of caravans on the road today. Loads of motorhomes and campervans as well.

First time we have been by road. Been past on the boat in the past. Was nice to see it from a different aspect.

It will be a no spends day today. Number 2 of April.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is chicken and chorizo pasta and garlic bread made with the leftovers from yesterdays Sunday lunch.

No jobs tonight at home. We are having a lazy evening after a busy weekend. We will walk the dog but not much else.

In a bid to save a few extra pounds per week we have both decided to stop buying bottled water to take to work and have instead bought refillable water bottles to take to work instead. It's daft but they will pay for themselves in a week!!

We enjoyed it so much we have booked again for July when we might hopefully get some better weather for the beach walk.

Can tick off another couple of pies off the list as well then  :)
