Have a great holiday.  I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

We're off to the New Forest later this morning for the weekend and then on to the Isle of Wight for a week then a few more days somewhere back on the mainland before coming home.  Can't wait.

Enjoy yourselves and I hope the weather and traffic are kind. I get stuck in Lakes/Blackpool traffic at least once a week.

Regarding bedding, some friends used to manage by doubling up on the actual duvet covers/pillow cases and removing layers as they went lol. Not exactly full fresh bed but necessity sometimes calls for compromise. If they could wash, fine, if not a spare layer underneath.

That's a brilliant idea but not for me!  It would probably work if you have a low bed but it's bad enough getting on one layer when you're actually kneeling on the bed yet alone a 2nd layer!!!
