Been out with the dog. It was very blustery but we

    did stay dry.

Just had a bite to eat and put the first nine items for sale on Ebay. Nothing overly expensive put on today but they should fetch a fair amount between the nine items.

Lovely photos. It’s glorious here now, blue sky and sunshine but very windy.

It will be a no spends day today.

Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Full English breakfast this morning and roast chicken with all the trimmings later on for dinner.

Not much planned for today other than walking the dog and putting the first of the outboard engines for sale on Ebay this afternoon.

The items we put on yesterday are generating some interest. They have plenty of watchers and a couple already have bids. Think most of them should sell.

Might get a board game out later instead of just watching films.

Had an early night last night. Woke up with the birds this morning. Other half and the dog are still snoring though!

Put the first of the engines on Ebay at 4pm. Already starting to think it's going to be a lot of hassle!

Already had 3 dealers messaging us trying to buy it now.

This is what puts me off eBay. In the past I’ve had someone in Jamaica wanting to buy a top and someone in Italy wanting to buy a leather jacket when I specifically said I don’t ship overseas. They both bid and won so I had to sort out the extra postage costs with them. They did pay but it was such a faff.

They are all fairly local dealers. If they had offered a sensible price we might have considered it. But the bidding is already over what one of them had offered 🤔

They were trying their luck. We ain't daft though. We know roughly what it should fetch.

Sounds like you’re doing really well with the eBaying. I’d say leave the items on. We too had a fry up and roast chicken.

Made me laugh re waking up with the birds usually only time I hear the birds is when I’ve done an allnighter and wish they’d !!!!!! just leave me alone lol just me I’m sure ha.

It should be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I have some soup and bread for my lunch and dinner tonight is chicken enchilladas made with the left overs from last nights roast chicken.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • vacuuming the house
    • dusting the house
    • walking the dog x 2
The Ebay items are ticking along nicely. As predicted the engine is getting a lot of interest. Most of the other items now have bids on them as well. If the engine fetches what we think it should then there should be about £400 worth of sales from the items this week to put in the pot.
