alt80 said:I assume your OH will do the service on the car but less than a day of garage time there although the brakes might be stuck after all this time? Probably want tyres too but not going to be expensive and as you’ve no longer got the boat probably lots of opportunity to get out in the car. I’m missing my ftype my mate with the MG invited me to go to some (hopefully happening) event.
The place were we will send it for the MOT are a dab hand at working on these old engines so we will send it to him to service it and set it up again for us. He had it running sweet as a nut last time we had it out and he didn't charge a lot to do it.
It will be nice to get it out and use it again. Take it for a few runs to the coast and for a few days out in the peaks. The dog has not even been in it yet!!4 -
Sounds like it just needs taking to the garage then !!!!!! are the pair of you waiting around for. You’ll have a great time and I bet the dog will too esp going to the beach. Not going to pull the trigger I don’t think but I keep looking at a DB7 vantage (V12 one) !!!!!! the BM off and buy the AM - can buy a lot of repairs for the cost of depreciation on the BM and could throw it over 2 or 3 0% cards so no interest either lol.2

Rain has stopped play with the fence treatment. He at least has the treatment now for when the weather is dry enough to apply it. He is going to go out and brave the weather shortly to sort out the carrots and the rosemary though. Rather him that me. It doesn't look very nice out today.3
