Hello everyone,
Next month i am looking to get my first sim-only contract, nothing fancy really the cheapest available, i come across a deal that i like with virgin media,
just the £7 one and was looking for some advice, is it a good network? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Virgin use the EE network so make sure you can get a good signal with EE before signing up. Virgin do 12 monthly contracts so you will be tied to them for a year minimum. I've seen quite a few negative comments regarding Virgin customer service on this site but quite honestly most networks seem to be complained about on here!
An alternative is Plusnet who also run on the EE network but do rolling 30 day contracts which means you can switch to another network without too much hassle should you need to.

I'd certainly look at 30 day rolling contracts before committing. There is not much advantage to having any longer contracts, especially as it's your first SIM only contractNumerus non sum0

Smarty do decent priced 30 day contracts. currently my MiL is on 30gb a month data and unlimited calls and texts at £10pm.0
