South East Water's many payment options. Which is cheapest?

I'm confused by the so many Direct Debit payment options South East Water offers:

Annually
2 payments (April and October)

8 payments (May through to December)

10 payments (April through to January)

12 payments (April through to March)

Is there any difference to the rate? In some Direct Debit over many payments over few are more expensive, case in point TV license. Does anyone know if this is the case with South East Water? The website's help FAQ does not say anything. If the same why so many similar options?

There isn't a difference with the water companies you will pay the same amount just split over a different amount of months.

It was traditionally 10 months, or 8, probably from the era when 'water boards' were controlled by LA's.
