Lloyds app does not allow screenshot. Is this common?

Sometimes I like to take a screenshot of payment details because the history shows so very little after payment. On my laptop with online banking Print Screen is no problem. On my phone the Lloyds Android app does not allow it. Is there a trick around this? Is it common to other banks apps? Is it same on Apple?

Think It's a common thing for security purposes . I can't screenshot Nationwide either (only one I've tried)

Very common, all my banking apps prevent screenshots.
So I pick up my old phone and take a photo if I really need a record.

Just use the browser on your mobile and sign in to their website.
Looks the same and you can take a screenshot.

"Cannot take screenshot due to security policy" is the usual error message on Android when you try to do it on the Halifax app. So yes, very common.

Log in via Safari/Chrome if you want a screenshot.

My laptop usually says it's confidential information and am I happy to do a screenshot. So I can actually do them, but get asked before the shot actually works. I've never actually been denied flat out. Just questioned.

Maybe it depends who you are dealing with but I bank with Nationwide and have managed to screenshot them as well.

I presume your using an android device? For all android devices you can't take screenshots i'm not sure why, i use an iPhone and you can take screenshots on these for all banks. But as a pp recommended take a photo on another device if you need something on record.

Ditto - I can screenshot all my banking apps, including Nationwide and Halifax (same platform as Lloyds, I believe)  on iPhone

How exactly are you trying to make your screenshots? Which device(s), what method, and what happens if you try it?

I can't think of any reason why you couldn't make screenshots of anything you can see on your display.
