You have spent £2k on legal costs, £1.5K on inspections and £22K on car hire / lease yet you claim that don't have the £500 or so to file a claim in the Small Claims Court. That doesn't add up. It also does not make sense that you would spend £22K on leasing and hiring cars when you could have purchased a vehicle to use for a fraction of that cost.badcardealers said:we don't have the money and wife is seriously ill.1 -
It is madness indeed. The original car was £12k. It would have been cheaper just to get a new one for that price. I don't think the op is coming back though.MEM62 said:

Court is the only option, good news is that it probably won't go that far and they will settle out if court. But at this point it's all you can do.1
