It’s one of those bizarre trolls. Maybe Sweetsand with another fantasy vehicle.1

There are 2 spam reports on the OP in this thread ... the others must be elsewhere otherwise the OP in this thread would be gone.0

I don't think this can be spam as it is too absurd to be made up. Maybe the OP will come back to add some clarity on he queries that have been raised?1

It’s totally absurd. How could anyone let this run on for so long? Once you rejected the car 3 years ago what did you do about getting the £12k back? I can’t understand why anyone would just forget £12k and then hire and lease other cars.If the garage refused the rejection why did they become the RK?1

Is the OP saying they had a previous car from the same garage that ran well for many years, but eventually they had to replace it so went to the same garage because of previous good relationship?
OR
Is the OP saying they had a car from the garage and rejected it, then needed to reject the second car also?badcardealers said:they also applied to be the registered keeper within 5 days for some reason.
I have never had this, or need to do it, but I do understand that if someone applies to be RK and without the V5, then the DVLA will contact current RK (OP) to verify that the transfer is all above board. What did the OP do when that request was received? Who is the RK now (OP / garage / taxi)?
Regardless, I am fairly certain that the garage's liability would be limited to sale price of the car (£12k) and there would be no liability for consequential losses (hire car, lease car, forensics, etc). Not sure where the £25k storage comes into that mix.0 -

So, you have spent £37.5K on the car and additional costs, including £2K legal fees, but 'you don't have the money'?
A small claims action for £10K 3 years ago would have cost you just £455 in fees. Have you heard the expression 'penny wise, pound foolish'?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

You cannot be the registered owner as there is no such thing.0

The car can't be that bad if someone is running it as a taxi0
