  • So the people looking to buy have appointed an agent to search for property for them and advise - this type of service isn't very common and mostly for very expensive property but no reason why anyone can't do it. I think the problem rests with your EA who seems to have an issue with it.
Seeing as they were speaking a different language maybe they are new to the house buying system in the UK and have hired someone to help them navigate it.  Seems reasonably sensible to me actually.  They won't be buying your house though I wouldn't have thought!

I'd be having a strong word with your EA about being rude to people who may want to give you tens or hundreds of thousands of pounds!

Could be as simple as another EA looking for an investment property and brought prospective tenants with them.

Our EA , checks that viewers either have , MIP, house on market or is cash buyer before someone can view. Also viewers have to wear mask / gloves . Not touch anything. EA we have seen since for another viewing . Informed us he was annoyed as details supplied were from  agent . Not details of couple. Yet they were ones looking to buy. This agent would not supply or allow couple to deal direct with our EA. They did speak english.  So our EA  did not know if couple were proceed able. This was second time this person had done this in a couple of days and was using two accounts to get viewings. He has been removed from any further viewings with our EA ‘s company. The reason EA was annoyed as they are trying to minimise time wasters etc and minimise risk to us with viewers . Which other EA are also  doing
