    Hi, I've just got a hearing date through and it's on a day I'm at work. I only work part time but I'm a teacher so I'm going to struggle to get the time off. If I'm allowed it off I'll have to take it unpaid. What are my chances of getting the date changed?

    You can ask, but the N180 you filled in should have contained your unavailable dates

    It can cost over £100 to move a date

    Sorry, no chance. But it doesn't matter!

    Because this claim is about a single PCN, just say nothing for now about the date because DCB Legal are about to discontinue. It's that stage!

    Probably human error,  but DCB Legal do tend to discontinue before the hearing fee needs paying  !
  • How do I know if they've discontinued? The fee was due to be paid on 22nd and I haven't had a letter or email yet...

    Call the court where the hearing was due to take place.
