Amazon - 'delivered' doesn't actually mean delivered

Most deliveries I've had recently (since April) courier companies have been laying parcel outside the front door and taking a photo of it on the doorstep. Of course there had to be one driver who laid a rather large box outside my front door so that when I tried to open the door (it opens outwards), it jammed against the parcel and I couldn't get out. Good job I am so posh I have a back door as well!MarkN88 said:
Plus with the current pandemic most companies are not letting you sign, so you’ll find their terms and conditions say different.LadyDee said:
"May" sound dishonest? It is dishonest if you are claiming refunds you are not entitled too. You can look forward to your account being suspended.letsbehonest said:Unless I sign for any parcel delivered to me then I didn't receive it even if left on my doorstep it did not arrive regardless of the informing email. This may sound dishonest but today's delivery drivers make a lot of premeditated mistakes.0 -
You are taking the moral high ground with your assumption's I did not say I make request for refunds, the reason for my post was that I have had a few parcels left at different addresses sometimes streets away and on occasions it has taken sometime for the honest recipient to contact me and. If and when that happens I notify the online retailer that this my package has turned up and the appropriate procedure then follows.LadyDee said:
