I pretended to walk away, but she got wise to that quickly. My new tactic is to shut the doors so she is safe turn my back to the car and completely ignore her. No attention and it should get boring quickly. I’ll let you know if it works! It did quickly tonight, but she’d been messing around for ages already so not sure if even she had got bored by then!2025 decluttering: 3,848🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

I'm not even sure how to update my diary. I was really ill last week with a stomach bug that took ages to shake off and then work have been piling on stress about some reporting. If they pressure me again tomorrow, I will absolutely tell them straight to cut it out, as putting stress on to finish something I was already working on is counter intuitive and I will just make a mistake if I rush through it.So much going on, DH is working loads and away most days and I don't even have a spare minute to myself. Feeling so stressed out at the moment, that I left at the last minute yesterday to pick up DD and realised I didn't have enough petrol. Stopped at the petrol station, went in to pay and realised I'd left my purse and phone at home! I used the garage's phone to call DH who luckily picked up and had just walked in the door. He came to rescue me with my purse. So embarrassing! I made it to nursery with about 2 mins to spare.I'm just all over the place at the moment and it is just one thing after another after another. All things that are fine on their own, but it is just all at once. There isn't a long enough post to cover it all, but an example is that DH went all day (until midnight) travelling to and from his uncle's funeral on Monday. It was a bit of a shock as he was standing on a step ladder to cut their hedges, slipped, banged his head and never woke up.I have the day "off" today, but DH is working late at the office again and I have a massive list of things I've been putting off that I need to do. Went into town today and got myself some new bras. I absolutely detest buying them, but my ones are hanging on by a thread and barely do anything at all anymore. I tried online with eco friendly brands, but it's impossible and I just need to try them on. I took a stab at my size (post bf fun) and after some that seemed to hate women and dug in everywhere possible, I found some that are so comfortable, it feels like it isn't there. I might never take them off
Irritatingly you could only buy them in packs even though I didn't necessarily want that number/all those colours 🙄.
Similar situation with sandals. My feet get really hot in trainers and I don't own sandals. I tried online and got nowhere fast, so I just went to the high street and found some in the first shop I was in that are comfortable for lots of walking (and running after little children!). Those will be in use later!Treated myself to an M&S small pizza for lunch after the stress of shopping and now have the afternoon to catch up on a huge list of chores, tidying and decluttering. Dinner is just me and DS, so will do easy jacket potatoes with beans and cheese. Not sure on dessert yet, but plan to make two lots of vegan ice cream later; one vanilla and the other strawberry. Never made coulis before for the flavouring, but can't be that hard and I have a decent sieve and some cheesecloth... The only thing is that it will leave me with half a tin of condensed milk to use up. Any good ideas to use it up? Answers on a postcard please..2025 decluttering: 3,848🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

I forgot to report back.. so the tactic of shutting the doors and ignoring DD does make it quicker and reduces messing around time to a max of 5-10 mins. She only stopped quicker yesterday as she kept getting stuck between the seats and needed me to rescue her. The only time she got straight into her seat with no messing around was when I had DS with me as she was so excited to see him and sit next to him.

Glad you got some of the things you need - I agree on online stuff, the money I have wasted on things that don't fit and I then pay to return
Enjoy the ice-cream. I always say it, but you underestimate yourself, even on a bad week you get so much done!Mortgage December 2023: TBC
