i bought a tv from Currys 12 days ago. It’s now gone down in price by £200. Of course I’m not happy. Can I ask them to pay me back the difference. Any one had any success with this?

Don't be ridiculous, you were happy to pay the asking price at the time.

Prices are not static in retail and it was probably dropped as being end of line and to clear it out for new stock.  If you thought there was a possibility of a drop in price you should have held off buying in the first place.

Of course had it gone the other way and Currys upped it by £200 would you have gone back and given them an extra £200?

You can only ask.

I got a refund in similar circumstances on a printer from Currys (admittedly, it was only £20 difference).   

I can be very persuasive, though.

Currys 1 year, JL 5 years, Richer Sounds 6 years....
I still can't work out why people still go there.
