You sometimes find the situation where someone "just moves in" - they don't change the name on the LR or anything, they just hope that no-one notices, the longer they stay there, the harder it is to get them out.Davylad said:

So it would be worth a quick check on the Land Registry website to see who is currently the registered owner.
