Ryanair refund

How is this company getting away with this. Received an email on 29 May 2020 from Ryanair saying do I want a refund or voucher for my flight. Clicked on refund and completed application. No refund was forthcoming. Kept checking the refund application and when I applied again I got the message saying you have already requested a refund and my refund was in the queue. Still no refund arrived. Called them on 25 August 2020 to be told I have been issued a voucher.I told them at no time did I request a voucher. They then said when I received the email on 29 May I should have called them. The email they sent could not have been clearer. When I mentioned this I was told we gave you avoucher do you want your money back or not. If so you will go back in the queue. Unbelievable.
Easy jet refunded my money within 3 weeks no problem. Easy jet all the way from now on.
