Three moving out of contact users - Again!

This happened back in 2014 and looks like Three are up to their old tricks again.
We have been with the three network for years and years on sim only contracts. Once the contract expires, we normally stay on a rolling monthly basis and only renew into a new sim only contract when a better offer comes along. Several members of my household are coming up to the end of their sim only contracts in the next 30-days, but this time have received something different from three.
We are currently on a sim only 8gb data, unlimited minutes and texts and pay £10 per month on a rolling basis.
we are now receiving emails from three stating we cannot stay on this tariff anymore and have the option to choose one of the options below, trying to sign us up back into another 12/24 month contract or leave. If they do not here from us they will move us onto a rolling monthly contract where the price doubles for less!
Anyone else got this or similar? This is the email we received:
Hello xxxxx
Here at Three, we're always reviewing the range of tariffs we offer our customers and as part of this review we would like to offer you the opportunity to change your current plan or move to one of our latest plans.
What this means for you
You are currently on a one-month rolling plan on our Pay Monthly Terms and Conditions which can be found at three.co.uk/terms-conditions. Your current plan provides 8GB of data with Unlimited minutes and Unlimited texts. To check the full details of your current plan, please visit My3 or the Three app. We will no longer be able to offer you this plan because you are now out of contract with us.
We've handpicked some new plans below that we think will suit you. Just go online to www.three.co.uk and choose one of these offers in the next 30 days.
1-month sim only
8gb data, 8gb mins, Unlimited texts
£16
12 month sim only
12gb data, unlimited mins unlimited text
£13
24 month sim only
12gb data, unlimited mins, unlimited text
£12
Unless we hear otherwise from you, we'll move you to our 1-month SIM Only plan set out above on 25/09/2020.Your monthly charge will be subject to RPI increases from May each year, based on the Retail Price Index reported in February of the same year. We’ll always let you know before we make any change to your monthly charge. See three.co.uk/terms for full T&Cs.
For all other charges outside your allowance please check our handy price guide at three.co.uk/Three_price_guide. Please read this price guide as the other charges outside your allowance may be higher or lower than your existing plan.
Same great perks
You'll get Go Roam in 71 destinations - for more info, head to three.co.uk/go-roam, and we were named Best for Roaming at the uSwitch Mobile Awards 2020, voted for by consumers.
What happens next
If we don’t hear from you, we will move you on to our 8GB data 1-month SIM Only plan on 25/09/2020.
Alternatively, if you do move your plan with us, don't worry - there won’t be any interruption to your current service and you can still use your device. So, no new number or SIM swapping, and no hassles. Unfortunately, we can't move any existing Add-ons that you may have on to your new plan. If you have an Add-on live on the date we move you over, it'll be removed, but we'll credit your account with the cost of that Add-on. For details of our latest Add-ons, please go to the Three app.
Your choice of new plan
If you don't wish to take our 1-month SIM Only plan or haven’t found something else you love then you're free to leave without payment, but we'd hate to see you go. You'll just need to let us know that you'd prefer your account to be closed within one month of receiving this letter. After that, you can cancel it at any time by giving us 30 days' notice.
We also have a range of great plans and phone contracts to suit every need, just visit www.three.co.uk to find out more.
To cancel your service, change provider or if you’ve any other questions, visit three.co.uk/contactus.
Yours Sincerely,
The Three Team

OP - What is your point? I'm with 3 and I get 12GB unlimited calls/ SMS for £8 on a 12 month SIM only contract. Maybe if you ENGAGED with them rather than just posting in a forum you may get a better response?'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.
I have opinions, you have opinions. All of our opinions are valid whether they are based on fact or feeling. Respect other peoples opinions, stop forcing your opinions on other people and the world will be a happier place.0 -

OP you are not the only one and you won't be the last.
3 do it all year round to their customers that are on low contracts it's just something you have to put up with or leave to a new provider. they can more or less do as they please and it's not just 3 that do it.
Your best bet as said above is to talk to them you may get a nice surprise all depend which custom service person you speak to.
What i did last time was leave to Smarty mobile which is like payg with no contract and you can leave when you like and its owned by 3. https://smarty.co.uk/
then after about 2 weeks i see a three deal on here i think it was i then got my pac code from smarty and moved back to 3 with Unlimited everything for £11mth.....1yr contract but that was fine...So next year unless they take the contract away from me the games will begin again until i get what i want......By the way that deal is not a cashback one i don't like them.
