Well it's beginning to look like Portugal, Germany, Poland or Slovakia.

All these countries let you in without any tests and there is no need to quarantine on Return. Slovakia is looking favourite as I have not been there before.

With BA I'll cancel the Albanian Trip (with great sadness), I've only paid the deposit which I will get back in the form of a voucher. I then book the new trip just paying the deposit of £150. As none of my selections are on the "naughty list" should that change before departure I will be able to cancel and get a full refund of any monies paid right up to 24 hours before departure.

The deposit from the aborted Albanian Adventure will be used to reduce the balance on the Slovakian trip which will only be due 3 weeks prior to departure and is "FCO Proof"

British Airways .....your flexible friend (forget Access)

Phoned BA from work last night and got it sorted out.
Took about 30 mins to get through at 7pm.
Had to abandon Slovakia as BA fly into Vienna in Austria (on the naughty list)
Berlin here we come (hopefully) on October 12th.
Just praying that Spain is rehabilitated  towards the end of October as supposed to be going to Port Adventura for a few days.

BA's Holiday Promise is certainly worth it's weight in Gold......
People who booked packages with Love Holidays /On the Beach/ LastMinute.com (including me) look on in envy !!!

I have just received an E-Mail informing me that my "Albanian Adventure" has been cancelled. At the time I booked it there was an FCO warning in place for All but essential travel.

The Flights are going ahead but the Hotel is closed so they have cancelled it and are refunding my money without my having to do anything within a week.

Just hoping my "parallel reserve booking" to Berlin  remains live as Germany is still in the " sub-20 " club as I write.

    Further developments ....
Portadventura Spain has gone (even without quarantine requirements) Hotel is not going to be open so a full refund on it's way back - just had to reply to a text to facilitate it !!!

Back up trip to the above also gone ... Polish Flight times altered rendering them incompatible with return to Inverness so free cancellation and refund in progress.

I'm nothing if not resilient now booked a short break to Turkey (Istanbul) to replace the above. On BA Holidays of Course and hopefully this one will survive the "corona tribulations" of travel in the current climate.
